The Luxembourg House of Financial Technology has announced the six finalists of its Future Foundation--Mutualisation Bootcamp 2025. The six fintechs will explore practical use cases, assess operational readiness and identify a solution with the strongest potential for sector-wide adoption.

, the Catapult Future Foundation aims to bring the right people together in order to provide “mutualised” financial services. The idea is that the financial industry faces common challenges, like know-your-customer (KYC) procedures, compliance requirements, data transfer or data management. By working together and pooling resources, more efficient solutions can be found.

Backed by several of the grand duchy’s main financial associations, including the Luxembourg Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (LPEA), the Luxembourg Bankers’ Association (ABBL), the Insurers and Reinsurers Association (Aca), the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (Alfi), the Luxembourg Capital Markets Association (LuxCMA), the Luxembourg Stock Exchange (LuxSE) and the Luxembourg Alternative Administrators Association (L3A), .

The Luxembourg Financial House of Technology (Lhoft) on 17 April announced the six finalists for the inaugural edition of the Future Foundation--Mutualisation Bootcamp, noting that they “demonstrated innovative approaches to creating mutualised solutions that enhance operational efficiency, strengthen compliance processes and improve client experiences across the financial services sector in relation to data and document exchange.” The finalists are:

Governance.com: delivers a digital governance and compliance platform that streamlines data management, regulatory workflows and oversight across financial institutions;

Proximus/Wecan Comply: offers a blockchain-based platform for secure regulatory document exchange and automated  processes;

The ID Register: provides a centralised onboarding and compliance hub for fund managers, offering automated processes, regulatory reporting and investor lifecycle management;

Ume: a community-led platform that standardises and automates documentation exchange, enabling efficient onboarding and due diligence;

U-Reg: a flexible regtech platform with AI-driven compliance automation, secure data exchange and configurable workflows; and

Vestlane: supports fund managers with an automated onboarding and compliance platform, combining AI, real-time collaboration and integrated regulatory workflows.

Themes of the bootcamp

During the bootcamp, which will take place in Luxembourg on 19-23 May 2025, the six companies will have the opportunity to interact with financial institutions, regulators and industry experts. The programme will focus on: mutualisation in the financial sector; efficient data and document management; integration and interoperability; enhancing client experience; and regulatory and compliance challenges.
