The , the new name for the Media Awards, aims to reward and highlight the best of creativity in advertising and communication in Luxembourg. The event is making a comeback after an absence of two years.
In addition to the name change, a new co-organiser joins Maison Moderne and RTL: MarkCom, the association of marketing and communication consultancies in Luxembourg.
This year's jury is composed of Dany Frank (member of the commission for ethics in advertising), Frédérique Theisen (in charge of communication for the municipality of Steinfort), Peter Becker (creative director of Wild Solutions), (head of sales and marketing at Landewyck), (founder of Cocenting) and (president of Kneip Management).
SME minister, (DP), will be present at the event supported by the economy ministry. The new event will be organised every two years.
130 projects submitted
Together, the jury has already analysed 130 projects submitted by 23 agencies and seven advertisers' communication departments, and have selected only 45 for the awards shortlist. There are 10 final nominees in the "Brand activation" category, five in the "Event/live experience" category, 10 in the "Image campaign" category, 10 for "Non profit campaigns" and ten in the "One shot/top topical" category.
The best of them will be rewarded on Thursday at a ceremony hosted by at Tramsschapp in Limpertsberg. Gold, Silver and Bronze awards are up for grabs in each category. The evening will start at 5.45 pm with a welcome cocktail. The awards ceremony will take place during a dinner starting at 7pm. This will be followed by a dessert/cocktail party until 10.30 pm.
