LuxTrust has announced the appointment of Jacques Thill as chairman of the board of directors of LuxTrust and LuxTrust Development, a decision announced on 4 May 2026. The company has thus entrusted this role to a figure with a background in public policy in order to support the development of its activities in the face of digital challenges.

LuxTrust has announced the appointment of Jacques Thill as chairman of the board of directors of LuxTrust and LuxTrust Development on 4 May, in a ceremony held between Luxembourg and Paris. The company, which specialises in digital trust in Europe, operates in a context characterised by the expansion of digital usage and increased demands for security and sovereignty. This decision supports the development of the group’s activities and strengthens its position in services related to digital identity and secure transactions.

The press release describes a landscape in which “interactions, identities, contracts, data and assets are now largely digital”. This shift is leading to higher expectations regarding compliance, accountability and data protection. LuxTrust is reinforcing its role for individuals, businesses and institutions by securing identities and ensuring reliable transactions. The company emphasises a forward-looking approach to anticipating technological developments in order to support the transformations of the digital economy.
