Unzer has opened a new office in Munsbach as part of its expansion plans, with the team set to grow to more than 40 members in the coming months.

Unzer, a provider of integrated payment and software solutions, expanded its operations in Luxembourg with the opening of a new office in Munsbach on Monday 25 November 2024. The new office replaces the company’s previous location in Grevenmacher and reflects its growth plans, with the Luxembourg team expected to exceed 40 members in the coming months, stated the company in a press statement.

“While Luxembourg is a smaller market, it’s significantly ahead in its digital journey compared to other regions such as Germany and Austria,” said Birgit Bucari-Kaiser, managing director of Unzer in Luxembourg. She noted that the country’s digital maturity, combined with a thriving start-up environment, makes it an ideal location for Unzer’s products. The company also holds a Luxembourg licence, enabling it to offer tailored solutions to local merchants.

Since launching its point-of-sale (Pos) solutions in Luxembourg earlier this year, Unzer has provided small and medium-sized businesses with tools to digitise their operations. The company’s include cashier software, card terminals and the Pos Go device, which features a built-in card reader, receipt printer and scanner. The portable, cloud-enabled device is designed for flexibility and includes features like digital accounting, receipt storage, and real-time sales analytics.

Unzer’s all-in-one payment solutions allow merchants to offer a seamless customer experience across both online and offline channels. “We understand that merchants in Luxembourg are looking for the convenience of a single provider, and that’s exactly what we deliver,” said Robert Bueninck, CEO of Unzer. “By offering all-in-one solutions--from Pos systems to online payments--Unzer gives them everything they need in one place, backed by a powerful platform.”
