Luxembourg investment fund Ilavska Vuillermoz Capital has announced that it has acquired a stake in Galytix, a company specialising in generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) language models for the banking and insurance sectors.
Founded in 2015 in London, Galytix employs a team of 140 staff located in the UK capital, Prague and India. The company says it develops solutions capable of transforming complex data into actionable insights, making decision-making easier for its customers.
One of its flagship products is the GX platform, which covers the entire data lifecycle: from discovery to analysis, including process automation. This solution optimises the work of credit analysts and claims managers by "accelerating their decision-making processes by around 30% while reducing operational costs by around 40%".
Galytix has also worked with major players in the financial sector, such as , which uses its technology to improve the risk analysis of its investments. More recently, the company launched HealthX, a digital health platform based on generative AI, in partnership with , aiming to automate health insurance underwriting and claims processes.
Based in Luxembourg, Ilavska Vuillermoz Capital specialises in alternative investments and says it works with innovative companies to generate a long-term sustainable economic impact.
