Bringing together the expertise of Finola Finn, Donal Khosrowi, and Caroline Sinders, and moderated by Cédric Kayser, the conversation presents a groundbreaking framework. Speakers’ Biographies
Finola Finn is a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Contemporary and Digital History (C²DH), University of Luxembourg. After earning her first degree at the University of Melbourne, she completed her PhD in history at Durham University. Her current research focuses on the epistemological and ethical implications of utilizing AI within historical and creative practices. Her essays have been featured in The Historical Journal, AI and Ethics, and Where Words and Images Meet.
Donal Khosrowi is a postdoctoral researcher in the philosophy of science and technology at Leibniz University Hannover. His research investigates the epistemological and ethical boundaries of AI/ML in science and society, specifically exploring what it means to be an "author,” "creator,” or “discoverer” in the digital age. He has led two grant projects on these themes and is widely published in Philosophy of Science, Synthese, and American Philosophical Quarterly.
Caroline Sinders is an award-winning critical designer, researcher, and artist. They are the co-founder and executive director of the human rights research and technology lab, Convocation Research + Design. For over a decade, they have examined the intersections of human rights, artificial intelligence, intersectional justice, and technology platforms, working with institutions such as Tate Exchange at Tate Modern, the United Nations, and the European Commission.
