Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping industries, redefining careers, and revolutionising the way we interact with technology. On April 3, 2025, Luxembourg will showcase this transformation with the Elements of AI Luxembourg Closing Conference at the University of Luxembourg (Maison du Savoir, Belval).

This free event marks a milestone in the success of the Elements of AI initiative, a project designed to demystify AI and equip individuals with essential knowledge of this rapidly evolving field. The conference will highlight AI’s potential across sectors, bringing together leading industry experts, policymakers, researchers, students, and professionals for a day of discussions, insights, and networking.

The conference will be officially opened by Elisabeth Margue, Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister for Media and Connectivity and Anne Calteux, Head of Representation of the EU Commission to Luxembourg, setting the stage for an event rich in content and expertise.

Throughout the day, attendees will have the opportunity to explore key topics such as:

- The impact of the Elements of AI programme, presented by Ms. Laura Bruun & Ms. Eva Suomi, from the University of Helsinki

- AI innovation in Luxembourg, led by Mr. Francesco Ferrero, Head of LIST’s Flagship Initiative on Artificial Intelligence

- The role of AI in education, featuring experts from IFEN and the University of Luxembourg

- The evolving landscape of careers in AI, with contributions from DLH and ADEM

With Luxembourg positioning itself as a hub for innovation and digital transformation, the Elements of AI initiative has already made a significant impact. The program’s ambitious goal is to train at least 1% of the population in AI fundamentals, ensuring that individuals from all sectors can engage with and benefit from this technology.

The conference offers a valuable opportunity to explore the topic, exchange ideas, and gain insights into its role in Luxembourg:
