The Renault Group announced in a press release on 23 February that, with effect from 1 March, Emmanuel Al Nawakil will replace Martin Domise as Managing Director Renault Belgium Luxembourg. Mr Domise will become Vice President Renault Sales & Operations Europe-Maghreb.
Born in 1979, Emmanuel Al Nawakil holds a master of science in management from the E.M. Lyon Business School. He began his career in the automotive industry in 2006 at PSA Peugeot Citroën, where he held several positions in the fields of controlling, customer relations and product.
In 2010, he joined Seat as regional manager Spain, France, Italy and Benelux. From 2017, he continued his career in Asia with the VAG Group. In particular, he was director product and sales planning Volkswagen in India, after having held the position of chief omnichannel officer at JAC Volkswagen in China.
After 20 years of international experience in sales, network and product, he joined Renault Group in 2022 as vice president sales & operations Alpine Cars. In 2023, he will take up the position of Vice President Sales and Marketing at Renault Korea.
Martin Domise is a graduate of HEC Paris. After several terms as a local councillor for the town of Amiens and the Hauts-de-France region, he joined Renault Group in 2018. Within the Public Affairs department, he is responsible for relations with the Senate and local authorities. In 2019, he was appointed Executive Secretary to the Director of European Operations. In 2021, he joined Renault Retail Group as Plant Director and Director of Transformation for the Paris Plate.
In September 2022, he was appointed Renault Brand General Manager and Director of Renault Belgium Luxembourg. On 1 March, he will take up the position of Vice President Renault Sales & Operations Europe-Maghreb.
