Hiroyuki Masuyama’s installation, “Flowers”, which can be seen in the square from 12 to 15 September, 9pm to 11pm, is being publicly shown as part of Photomeetings.

Masuyama, who is known in Luxembourg for his William Turner series, has turned his love of nature into an eye-catching installation using lightboxes to create a blooming meadow in the city square. The installation is free to view.

It is complemented with a handful of events, including an English-language lecture by Mishka Henner, dubbed “Counterintelligence” on 13 September from 5:30pm, a vernissage on man-made landscapes featuring photos by Edward Burtynsky, Mishka Henner and Yvon Lambert, also on 13 September, at Galerie Clairefontaine, and a round table discussion about photography in Luxembourg on 14 September.
