Clearstream and InvestRFP.com will integrate a new ‘request for proposal’ service into Clearstream’s fund centre platform.

Clearstream and InvestRFP.com have introduced an RFP service to the Clearstream Fund Centre platform. The new offering is aimed at enhancing the investment fund selection and decision-making process, Clearstream, a global provider of post-trading services, stated in an on Wednesday 15 November 2023. Its partner, InvestRFP.com, specialises in ‘request for proposal’ solutions for fund assessments, asset manager selection and monitoring.

The integration of InvestRFP.com’s platform into Clearstream’s fund services, which already cover fund execution, distribution and data management, expands their offerings. This new tool helps fund distributors with qualitative assessments and informed decision-making, stated the press release, benefiting both distributors and asset managers in the Clearstream ecosystem.

According to Clearstream, RFPs are critical in the fund industry and are used to solicit proposals from providers for investment management or other services in a structured manner. Distributors commonly face challenges in evaluating investment funds within specific investment strategies. The partnership between Clearstream and InvestRFP.com aims to address these challenges by improving the RFP process for fund distributors, Clearstream said.
