After Hootsuite's takeover of Talkwalker this spring, Talkwalker co-founder Christophe Folschette is joining the management of German startup Nuwacom to accelerate its internationalisation and raise funds. The startup offers a solution to improve business efficiency and productivity using artificial intelligence--and has already been adopted by Lufthansa.

“When Sascha [Böhr] introduced me to Nuwacom, I immediately knew that this startup had enormous potential for success: a talented team in a fast-growing market with an entrepreneurial will to win. I really enjoy actively building and shaping the future of an innovative company--from the founding team to the management team, from product-market fit to scaleup, and from local to global,” enthuses Christophe Folschette in an email in which he himself announces his arrival at the helm of Nuwacom alongside the two founders, Sascha Böhr and Alexander Kleinen.

Co-founder of Talkwalker, a consumer intelligence platform that was , Folschette will be responsible for the internationalisation process as well as the development and expansion of the sales organisation and go-to-market strategies. He will also be responsible for Nuwacom’s planned fundraising in the coming months.

“I have known Christophe for many years and have always admired him as a founder and entrepreneur. Together, we have set ourselves the goal of creating an internationally successful company with . Thanks to his in-depth experience and extensive expertise in technology products and business management, we are ideally equipped to achieve our ambitious goals even faster,” explains Böhr.

The two men have known each other since 2012 when Talkwalker and its previous project, Dirico, successfully implemented a partnership.

Nuwacom is an AI platform specifically designed for large organisations and that aims to increase their efficiency and productivity. It enables different AI technologies to be integrated into day-to-day work and supports the creation of high-quality content in the company’s own style. AI assistants automate routine tasks and provide valuable data analysis.

Lufthansa in May carried out an initial test in preparation for its annual general meeting of shareholders: thanks to the ‘digestion’ of more than 100,000 of the German airline’s internal documents in a secure environment, management was better able to respond more quickly and easily to 135 questions, even the most unexpected ones, or to shed light on certain business dynamics with less directly accessible facts. For 110 of these questions, the instant response was deemed to be equivalent to what a human could have provided, both in terms of content and form, according to the feedback that the young Koblenz-based company agreed to share with Paperjam.
