The year 2024 marked an important period of transition for Betic Consulting Engineers, part of Sweco. Faced with changes in management, the company took advantage of these developments to rethink its organisation. Today, a new form of governance based on a management team is in place and well established. This model will enable Betic to approach 2025 with a more participative structure and greater proximity to its employees and customers.

A structured and ambitious management team

Gone are the pyramidal hierarchies, replaced by collective decision-making. has opted for a form of governance made up of all the office’s team managers, each contributing their expertise and strategic vision. As a result, the company is now officially supported by its managers, who share the destiny and management of Betic. “This organisation allows us to have the commitment of everyone and stronger decisions thanks to the diversity of points of view. Every decision is taken in consultation, debated and, where necessary, voted on. It’s a collegial way of working where everyone has a voice,” explains , Betic Country Manager, adding: “in return, every employee and every customer therefore has a direct link with Betic management, with no intermediaries.”

The management team is made up of several experts: Franck Doron, Pierre-Yves Guillaume, , and , team managers MEP; , team manager healthcare; Elise Rein, team manager advanced engineering; Isabelle Snyers, CFO/DRH; Pierre Van Den Eynde, country manager. “Each of the team managers brings complementary skills, ensuring a wealth of perspectives when making decisions,” adds , team manager MEP.

Transparency is at the heart of this change. Open communication and information sharing ensure that every member of the team is fully involved in the management and development of the office. “We are all aware of the challenges ahead, and this helps us to make informed decisions that are unanimous and beneficial for the company and our employees,” emphasises , CFO and HRD.

A forward-looking dynamic

While this new governance marks a new chapter in Betic’s history, it remains true to the company’s DNA. Its fundamental values--innovation, sustainability and proximity to our customers--continue to guide its actions. “These values have always united us, and today they bring us even closer together. We are a closer-knit team than ever, ready to take on the challenges ahead. I like to think that the diversity of our skills is an asset for the future. As we see in nature, it is often the most diverse and interconnected systems that show lasting resilience,” says , team manager advanced engineering.
