The musicians of the Luxembourg Philharmonic were never afraid of a challenge, and it looks like they decided to start 2024 by stepping outside the beaten path.

First on 12.01, by sharing the stage with the Quatuor Ébène in a rare coming together of orchestra and string quartet. One week later, they tackle a multifaceted Romantic programme sparked by the creation of a brand-new cello concerto. Finally, January concludes with a bold faceoff between two composers of epic proportions: opera legend Richard Wagner and groundbreaking avant-gardist György Ligeti!  Convinced yet? We’ve sampled out the details of each of these three programmes, so you can get a better sense of what (or, rather, who) to expect on stage. We wish you a happy and musical start of the year!
